Kajaanin Hakan edustusjoukkueen taival Suomen Cupissa jatkuu vakuuttavasti. Joukkue matkasi Jyväskylään Komeettojen vieraaksi hakemaan jatkopaikkaa ja palasi kotiin pelillisesti vahvan esityksen ja voiton kera.

Haka lähti otteluun valmiina ja hyvässä pelituntumassa, mikä on seurausta huolellisesta valmistautumisesta. Päävalmentaja Marko Milunovic korosti ottelun jälkeen, että joukkueen fyysinen ja henkinen vire oli juuri siellä, missä pitikin.

– Olemme hioneet peliämme ja tehneet kovasti töitä tiettyjen osa-alueiden parissa. Oli hienoa nähdä, että nämä asiat siirtyivät onnistuneesti harjoituskentältä suoraan tositoimiin, Milunovic kommentoi tyytyväisenä.

Hallinta toi ansaitun tuloksen

Peli oli alusta loppuun saakka kajaanilaisten kontrollissa. Erityisesti avausjaksolla Haka loi runsaasti laadukkaita maalipaikkoja, joista pallo olisi voinut upota verkkoon useamminkin. Vaikka viimeistelyyn jäi vielä hieman parantamisen varaa, kokonaisuus miellytti valmennusjohtoa.

– Hallitsimme ottelua ja saimme luotua paikkoja ehkä isompaankin voittoon. Loppujen lopuksi pitää kuitenkin olla tyytyväinen lopputulokseen ja siihen, miten pystyimme viemään peliesitystämme eteenpäin, Milunovic summaa.

Katseet kohti seuraavaa haastetta

Voiton myötä Haka etenee cupin kolmannelle kierrokselle, jossa panokset kovenevat. Tässä vaiheessa mukaan tulee joukkueita aina Veikkausliigaa myöten, mutta Hakan leirissä jokaiseen vastustajaan suhtaudutaan samalla kunnioituksella ja vakavuudella.

– Cup on hieno kilpailu ja haluamme katsoa, kuinka pitkälle rahkeemme riittävät. Meille jokainen peli on yhtä suuri ja jännittävä haaste, kohtasimme sitten Kolmosen joukkueen tai ylempien sarjojen ryhmän, Milunovic painottaa.

Suomen Cupin kolmannen kierroksen arvonta suoritetaan keskiviikkona 1. huhtikuuta. Silloin selviää, kuka asettuu vastaan Hakan seuraavassa ottelussa. Pysy kuulolla, tehdään tästä huikea Cup-kevät!

– We have been fine-tuning our game and working hard on specific areas of play. It was great to see those elements transfer successfully from the training ground directly into the match, a satisfied Milunovic commented.

Dominance Yields a Deserved Result

The match was under Haka’s control from start to finish. Particularly in the first half, the team created numerous high-quality scoring opportunities, and the scoreline could have been even wider. Although there is still room for improvement in finishing, the coaching staff was pleased with the overall performance.

– We controlled the game and had chances for perhaps an even bigger win. In the end, however, we must be happy with the final result and the way we were able to develop our performance on the pitch, Milunovic summarized.

Looking Ahead to the Next Challenge

With this victory, Haka advances to the third round of the Cup, where the stakes increase. At this stage, teams from higher divisions, including the top-flight Veikkausliiga, enter the competition. However, Haka approaches every opponent with the same respect and focus.

– The Cup is a great competition, and we want to see how far our capabilities can take us. To us, every match is an equally big and exciting challenge, whether we face a team from the lower divisions or the top flight, Milunovic emphasized.
